Will we try to make a round pond, like the one at Bedgebury? Or will it be easier to build a square pond? Will a square pond look as nice and will it be strong enough to contain the water?<\/p>\n<p>Ideally, I&#8217;d like the pond to be sunken below the level of the ground, but with the edge at a height where you can sit on it and any fish swimming around are nice and close. In terms of location in the garden, that leaves only one place that&#8217;s feasible &#8211; next to the patio where the lilac tree is, which is a shame because it&#8217;s a lovely tree, but it will have to go.
